Our mental health plays major role in our life . A mentally healthy person have a positive outlook towards life and he enjoys every bit of his life .While a person having poor mental health lives a hectic and stressful life which leads to anxiety, depression, dyslexia like mental disorders.
We can avoid these mental problrms by doing small changes our lifestyle .So in this post I am going to share 5 basic and small habits which are necessary for our mental health
1. Meditation or breathing exercise
Like physical exercise mental exercise is also necessary to conditions our minds. Daily 5-10 minutes breathing exercise is very helpful to avoid stress and anxiety.
2. Spend some time with nature
Flowers, birds,sky and our green sorroundings always makes us happy .So try to spend 15 to 20 minutes outside and feel the nature.It is a great instant mood enhancer therapy for our stressful life.
3. Eating healthy
Green veggies, fruit and nuts makes us healthy internally , physically and mentally .food with omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids is very important for our brain cells. It is found in nuts ,fish and flaxseeds. So eating right food is necessary for our brains nourishment and mental health.
Reading is a good habit for our mental health. It nourishes our brain cells and helps to improve memory. Daily readings makes us focused and avoid stress . Motivational books are very helpful for mental growth.
A good 6-8 hrs sleep is very mandatory for our mental health. Good sleep rests the brain ,repairs brain cells and helps them to grow. Sleep rejuvenates our mind and improve our mental health by avoiding stress , anxiety , depression etc.
